A few weeks ago I blogged about The Premonition Series by Amy A. Bartol & how I sadly finished Incendiary, the last book currently available. While I am trying {really hard} to patiently wait for Amy to finish book #5, I needed something immediate to get my mind off of Evie & Reed's story. You could say I was 'jonesing' for a fix, another young adult, paranormal series to get wrapped up in. Another reason to turn into 'zombie mom.'

I am happy to report, I found that series!

While nothing will replace the love I have for Amy A. Bartol & The Premonition Series, I will admit, I have now fallen for the beautiful story of Grace & Robert in the Grace Series.

With the Grace Series, I was able to get so wrapped up & involved with the characters that it once again became really hard for me to put my Kindle down. S.L. Naeole had me feeling the same raw emotions her characters felt, their love, their joy, their heartbreak, their anger, their jealously ... there were times I felt emotionally drained!

For example, at one point, I was laughing out loud. I looked like a crazy lady in the middle of Toni & Guy.

Superdad found me a couple times in the middle of the night, sitting up straight in bed, reading, my eyes filled with excitement, filled with fear.

I was even standing in the check out line at WalMart, holding my Kindle, clinging to every word, praying that the line would move more slowly, oblivious to the world around me, oblivious to the six foot space between me & the guy in front of me.

There were times my heart literally ached for the characters, times I was brought to tears, times I really wanted to yell at them, at S.L. Naeole, at no one /: I just wanted to yell /:

So, I would say, The Grace Series was my perfect 'fix!'

Unfortunately I finished the Grace Series & unfortunately Amy didn't finish book #5 in that time period. Since I a major book addict, I am already 'jonesing' & looking for my next 'fix' (:

I first came across the Grace series last year when I first got my kindle. It's the first series I read on kindle & I fell in love with Robert. When I picture Robert I always picture him as the guy from the Vampire Diaries, the one with the dark hair & light eyes.
I couldn't put this book down. I couldn't get enough of it. I read the twilight series & to me these books out beat that story. Robert is truly one of a kind. Graham manages to redeem himself after breaking Grace's heart. Grace got a great friend from her dark times. Stacey becomes one of her best friends. I love the relationship between Stacey & Graham. They are too funny.
I love the connection between Grace & Robert. They're relationship has its ups & downs but through it all they tugged at your heart and you always root for them.
I highly recommend this series to anyone. It's a beautiful story full of surprises. You won't regret reading this story.
First of all, I was so happy that this book came out early. I took a risk with the first book buying it because the author is virtually unknown (right now, I doubt it will stay that way), and there weren't really any reviews when I purchased the first book. However, it was $4.99, and with a price like that, definitely worth the risk. I was sold. Completely in love after the first book.
After reading the first two books in the series, I was anxiously awaiting this book. I fell in love with the characters in Falling from Grace. Each book left me wanting for more. This particular book was fast paced from the start. You always hope with series that one of the books won't disappoint or let you down, and so far, I haven't been disappointed at all -- quite the opposite, in fact. This book immediately got hy heart racing biting my nails to find out what happened next, I only put it down when I had to (I have kids, a job, and must sleep, afterall), but as cliche as it sounds, I did not want to put it down. Now that I've finished it, I want to re-read the series all over again. I won't spoil anything for any of the avid readers out there, but there is a major cliff-hanger at the end, and I am overjoyed that the fourth and last book comes out in December. Just in time for Christmas! Yay for me!
I am an avid reader and stumbled across the first two books in this series and loved the characters and story behind them. Believe me when I say, that I was anxiously awaiting the release of this third book amongst other fans and thought I would love it to say the least. Please believe me, when I write, that I really, really loved the first two books.

In this installment, Grace is heartbroken over what Robert hid from her and doesn't care if he did it to save her life. It kinda baffles me because what he hid from her, if you want my opinion, really was nothing, and I've read a ton of other books where the thin line between truth and lies were much more gripping. Nonetheless, to each her own and this character was heartbroken over the hidden truth of it all. Grace is super stubborn and its was quite unnerving if you ask me. The repeatitive dialogue of what happened in the past books; feelings, history on what took place, constant lengthy description of simple emotions were a bit much for me and i wanted to skip through pages altogether. I don't even know where to begin or end with this book. The writing seemed fragmented and pieced together and the plots not thoroughly thought through enough to cover all bases so that the reader can understand how things happened or why things happened or fell into place as it did. Some of it seemed a bit ridiculous at times, like yes, of course you want that gripping, gasp as you read it type of sinister deceit, but this was just a little too much for one heroine to take and it didn't even make any sense? I could've said way more but I think it may be way to critical to write and I'm hoping the author can bring it all back together in the next book and fill in the gaps.
